The mission of the Haiti Rehab Project is to support rehabilitation and medical programs and provide basic supplies and equipment to clinics, orphanages, families, and outreach programs in Haiti. As large shipment containers are sometimes held in customs for long periods of time, we have found it to be more successful to have needed supplies brought into Haiti with volunteers as a second checked bag of luggage. We are also looking for rehabilitation and medical professionals to volunteer in Haiti. If you can’t go yourself, but want to help a volunteer with the travel expenses, you can specify a donation to go to volunteer assistance. Thank you in advance for anything you may be able to contribute as it will surely change the lives of many individuals in Haiti.
